Artist/Designer, Crystal Sylver, a native to the San Francisco Bay Area, has studied a broad range of art including painting, drawing, stained glass, blown glass, sculpture, illustration, photography, jewelry design, and fashion design. All of which influence her art.
Couture Fashion and design, Art Deco, Egyptian Art, and Asian Art, inspire her creative process. Color and design are used to create a story, mood, and emotion behind the women she paints. Her emotional and erotic figure paintings are representative of the power, beauty, lust, and the story behind every woman.
Her clothing line, Funk Divine, is heavily influenced by Egyptian jewelry worn in ancient Egypt. Made with Hemp fabrics it is designed to create Hemp awareness. It was named ‘Best of San Francisco 2008’ by the San Francisco Magazine.
She is currently studying 3D Animation and Visual Effects at Full Sail University.
